Delete your Brain Snap account
You can delete your Brain Snap online account and its data at any time. You don't need an account to play. If you never signed in, there is nothing stored online to delete.
Option 1: in the app (instant)
- Open Brain Snap and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to Account.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm.
Your online data is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
Option 2: by email
If you can't use the app, email support@emberkite.com.au with the subject Brain Snap account deletion and include your Brain Snap username. We'll confirm and delete your account and data within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your player profile: username, avatar, profile photo, country flag, level, XP and streak
- Your friend challenges
- Your friend code
- All your scores and leaderboard entries
- Your friends list, friend requests and block list
- Your sign-in account (Firebase Authentication)
What is kept
Reports you submitted about other players are not deleted by in-app deletion. They are kept for moderation and player safety, but they are no longer linked to you: they only carry your old account ID, which no longer exists once your account is deleted. If you want them removed as well, email us (see Option 2) and we'll delete them within 30 days.
Apart from those reports, Brain Snap keeps nothing. The only other exception is the record of a Brain Snap Pro purchase, which is held by Google Play under Google's own policies (so you can restore it later). We don't store your purchase in our database.
Stats saved only on your phone aren't online. To remove them, clear the app's storage or uninstall the app.
